Chris H. Busse is the 10th Sheriff of Loving County. He grew up in Anchorage Alaska and graduated from Anchorage Christian Schools in 1986. He joined the U.S. Air Force and served 22 years before retiring. He received a degree in Logistics Management from the Community College of the Air Force. He started his law enforcement career with the Clark County Sheriffs Office in Vancouver Washington in 2004. He served with the Odessa Police Department before transferring to the Loving County Sheriffs Office in 2008. He graduated the FBI Texas Command College in 2014. He graduated the National FBI Academy Class #261 in 2015.
